On Saturday 22nd June we held our second annual Brisley Bear Hunt. We are extremely grateful to all who took part either by displaying a bear at their home or spending time finding them and visiting us at the Village Hall. We had 25 entries from homes showing their bears, it is true to say that our bears were up to about everything imaginable.

In the hall we enjoyed scrummy cakes, watched bear films, built bears ( thanks for this to Lisa Barker of the Clay Barn) decorated bear cakes and tried to guess the name of the bear.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in any way, this event is here to stay if you the people of Brisley and surrounding villages continue to support it.

A staggering £460 was raised divided equally between East Anglian Children’s Hospice  and SERV Blood Bikes, letters of thanks from them are on the noticeboards inside the Village Hall.
