St. Bart’s PCC would like to thank all the kind people who have helped to keep the church open and welcoming during these difficult times. We may not have services again yet but at least the church is open and available for anyone who would like to visit.
A big thank you for those  people in the village that  kindly gave donations towards the cost of repairs. It has made such a difference to have some help whilst we have been unable to put on any events to raise funds to help with the care and maintenance of our beautiful church.
We are attempting now  to try to raise more funds to repair some damage to the rood screen and to conserve some of the wall paintings. The wall paintings  need some stabilisation  and conservation work to help preserve them. If you are interested in learning more about the problems we have with the bats and the wall paintings there has been a recent survey report completed on them which you can obtain from Mary Carden email:
If you would like to make a donation towards the rood screen repair and the wall paintings conservation then please contact Judith Rolleston the church treasurer:
St. Bart’s is still providing a drop off point for the food bank so please leave any suitable items in the food bank box just inside the church.
Remember  there are a range of  books in the church available for you to borrow or buy. The church is open every day from 10.00-4.00
